Abstract

Multi Level Marketing is a modern marketing system through a distribution network that is built permanently by positioning the company's customers as well as marketing personnel. Competitive advantage is the ability of a company to offer goods and services of more value to consumers. Thus, this competitive advantage is reflected in the company's ability to beat market competitors. The focus of this research is: (1) How is the competitive advantage of MSI products in Jember Regency ?. (2) What about Multi Level Marketing for MSI products in Jember Regency ?. (3) What are the factors that support MSI's competitive advantage with Multi Level Marketing in Jember Regency? This study aims: (1) To know and describe the competitive advantage of MSI products in Jember Regency. (2) Knowing and describing Multi Level Marketing for MSI products in Jember Regency. (3) Knowing and describing the factors that support the competitive advantage of MSI products with Multi Level Marketing in Jember Regency. The research method in this thesis uses a qualitative approach. In determining the research subjects using purposive techniques. While the method of data collection uses the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The method of data analysis uses descriptive analysis techniques. While the data validity technique uses source triangulation. The conclusions of this study are: (1) Production costs that cannot be known by members but have an impact on the price of products that are relatively inexpensive with quality herbal ingredients, attractive packaging appearance by including elements such as the halal logo, expired date and BPOM. There are 21 types of products offered. (2) By purchasing a product package for Rp.425,000. will get one ID and so will the second and third purchases, thus forming a triangle. No registration money, accounts and bonuses can be inherited. Members freely work and sell their products through social media without having to come to the office and be very flexible for members who have a main job. In addition, Members do not need special experience and expertise in academics. (3) introducing products through social media. It will also be an advantage because of reduced advertising costs, simply by moving members to promote the product. Customer proximity is a company that runs a direct sales strategy where member loyalty is very influential on the company's growth and development.
