Abstract
Indonesia is a complex country, because it has a very wide area, rich in natural resources and even has cultural customs rooted in ancient times. Towards independence in the next 100 years, Indonesia targets the golden generation as the spearhead of the nation's progress. Therefore, various efforts continue to be made by each group. Education is one of the central media in realizing Indonesia's visions and dreams. Indonesia's vision and dreams in 2045 are not only education that is able to compete globally but also balanced with ethical and spiritual values. The purpose of this paper is to review the grand design of Islamic religious education in preparing the 2045 golden generation. Based on the above realities, the focus of this paper is 1) How to prepare the 2045 golden generation? 2) How is the grand design of Islamic education towards the golden generation of 2045?. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative through library research or literature study. The results of the study show that: 1) Self-development is a person's effort to increase the competitiveness of life. Therefore, this intellectual culture needs to be built through self-confident and self-awareness. 2) KKNI�based Islamic Education is an educational design in synchronizing the grand design or blue print of long-term planning for strategic and visionary educational development with global developments.
