Abstract

Learning Islamic Religious Education requires learning innovation so that teachers are agents of change, so a teacher should equip himself with various abilities, including knowledge, behavior and other abilities. The following is the focus of this research, namely: 1) How is the implementation of PAI teachers' pedagogical competence in learning Islamic Religious Education and Character at Nurina Bangsalsari Vocational School, Jember?; 2) How is the implementation of PAI teachers' personality competencies in learning Islamic Religious Education and Character at Nurina Bangsalsari Jember Vocational School?; 3) How is the professional implementation of PAI teachers in learning Islamic Religious Education and Character at Nurina Bangsalsari Jember Vocational School?; 4) How is the implementation of PAI teachers' social competence in learning Islamic Religious Education and Character at Nurina Bangsalsari Jember Vocational School? This research approach is a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, this type of research is a narrative research. The data collection techniques used are: interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis model includes: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is: technical triangulation and source triangulation. This research concluded that 1. The implementation of PAI and Character Education teachers' pedagogical competence at Nurina Bangsalsari Jember Vocational School is realized by carrying out the planning, implementation and evaluation stages, 2. The implementation of teacher personality competence is realized through actions that reflect individuals who have knowledge, are physically healthy and mental, noble character, and responsible. 3. Implementation of teacher social competence is realized through the success of teachers in adapting to their work environment and always maintaining good relations with all school staff. 4. Implementation of teacher professional competence is realized through teacher skills in mastering material, managing classes, utilizing media/resources, and evaluating student.
