Abstract

In Panti District, Kemiri Village is ranked second in poverty after Pakis Village with a population of 3,388 people in 2016. BUMDes Kemiri Village which is located in Panti District has the title of being the second most economically disadvantaged village in terms of its social conditions. Despite its economic challenges, the village has a valuable resource in the form of water, emphasizing the need to conserve this resource. The presence of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) is important to address and uplift Kemiri Village in conditions like this. The research focus in this thesis is: 1) What is the strategy of the Kembang Village Owned Enterprise in increasing Village Original Income (PAD) in Kemiri Village? 2) What are the inhibiting and supporting factors in increasing the community's Original Village Income (PAD) through Village-Owned Enterprises. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research type, data collection techniques using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Retrieving the subject of Data Validity uses technical triangulation and source triangulation. This research comes to the conclusion that 1) BUMDes Kembang's strategy in increasing Village Original Income (PAD) is to focus on the HIPPAM Unit distributing clean water which is a natural resource in Kemiri Village and also the Village Market which is an important asset in increasing Village Original Income (PAD ) to the community in Kemiri Village. 2) Obstacles and Supporters of BUMDes in increasing Village Original Income (PAD), obstacles such as the absence of investors to fill the Village, lack of tourist interest in visiting tourist villages, decreased marketing, and lack of innovation from the management. Supporting factors are that the community participates in increasing Village Original Income (PAD), the Village Government and the BUMDes supervisory body also support and provide support to BUMdes to increase Village Original Income.
