Abstract

Azma Hanina, Dr. Khairunnisa Musari, ST, M.MT. 2021: The Effectiveness of Using QRIS in Potato Life Sales Transactions at Roxy Jember. Keywords: Effectiveness, QRIS, and Sales Transactions. In implementing an easy, safe, and efficient system of payment. Bank Indonesia and the Indonesia Payment System Association (ASPI) continue to improve and develop the QRIS payment system to make it effective. This development aims to reduce the risk of interbank payments and improve the efficiency of non-cash payment system services. The focus of the research studied in this thesis are: 1) How is the practice of using QRIS in Potato Life sales transactions at Roxy Jember? 2) How is the effectiveness of using QRIS in Potato Life sales transactions at Roxy Jember? The aims of this study are: 1) To find out the practice of using QRIS in Potato Life sales transactions at Roxy Jember. 2) To determine the effectiveness of using QRIS on Potato Life sales transactions at Roxy Jember. The research a qualitative approach, while this type of research is a descriptive qualitative research type. The research location was conducted at Potato Life which is located in Jember Roxy Square. The implementation of this research last for 1-2 weeks starting in the 4th week of July and ending in the 1st week of August 2021. Determination of informants using saturated sampling and incidental sampling techniques. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion. The validity of the data using source triangulation techniques. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded 1) The practice of using QRIS on Potato Life sales transactions at Roxy Jember begins with the buyer telling the employee to make a non-cash payment, then the employee will direct the buyer to scan the QR Code then type the nominal amount to be paid, then the buyer’s balance is automatically reduced. 2) The effectiveness of using QRIS on Potato Life sales transactions at Roxy Jember refers to the measurement of the success of the information system, there are 6 indicators, namely: system quality, information quality, service quality, users, user satisfaction, and net profits. Based on the results of the author’s analysis can be said to be effective.
