Abstract

The integration of religious education and information technology has become an urgent need for Islamic educational institutions in the era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0. This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of partnership management between MAN 3 Jember and ITS Surabaya in improving life skills.
The focus of the research includes 1. How does the partnership between MAN 3 Jember and ITS Surabaya improve life skills? 2. How is the implementation of the partnership between MAN 3 Jember and ITS Surabaya in improving life skills? 3. How is the evaluation of the partnership between MAN 3 Jember and ITS Surabaya in improving life skills? The purpose of this study is to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the partnership between MAN 3 Jember and ITS Surabaya in improving life skills.
This study uses a qualitative approach with field research. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested using source and technique triangulation.
The results of the study show that partnership planning is carried out strategically through a vision alignment between the quality requirements of madrasahs and the service mandate of ITS, which is legalized through an MoU with a clear division of roles where ITS acts as the guarantor of curriculum quality and madrasahs act as operational implementers. The program is fully integrated as a compulsory intraschool activity (4-6 hours/week) using the ITS standard curriculum (25 credits) and supported by local instructors certified in Training of Trainers (TOT); Evaluation is conducted through multiple layers of supervision and outcome-based assessment through a Final Project Examination involving ITS lecturers. The impact of this partnership has proven to be significant in improving students' hard skills (competency certificates) and soft skills in the form of independence and a technopreneur mentality.
