Pembelajaran kitab Fath al-Qarīb di Pondok Pesantren Darullughah
Wadda’wah Pasuruan secara faktual masih terorientasi pada membaca
komprehensif (Fahm al-Maqrū’). Pada kondisi yang lain, praktik Mahārah Kalām
santri cenderung stagnan pada diskursus rutinitas harian. Merespons kesenjangan
tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji efektivitas bahan
ajar tematik integratif Al-Muhawarah Al-Fiqhiyyah Min Fath Al-Qarīb Al-Mujib.
Produk ini diproyeksikan untuk menyinergikan literatur kitab fath al-Qarīb ke
ranah lisan, memacu konfidensi tutur santri tanpa terbelenggu oleh kecemasan
gramatikal (qawā'id).
Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D)
dengan model Borg & Gall. Dalam perancangannya, desain bahan ajar mahārah
kalām tematik diintegrasikan dengan teori Content and Language Integrated
Learning (CLIL), sebuah kerangka pedagogis yang mensinergikan pemahaman
kognitif hukum fikih dengan psikomotorik komunikasi lisan. Untuk menguji
keefektifan produk, penelitian ini menerapkan desain eksperimental komparatif
yang melibatkan Pre-Test dan Post-Test pada dua kelompok sampel (Kelas
Eksperimen dan Kelas Kontrol).
Hasil komputasi statistik mengonfirmasi kesetaraan kemampuan awal
kedua kelompok subjek melalui uji homogenitas, yang mencatatkan nilai Sig. 0,970
(> 0,05). Setelah menggunakan bahan ajar, pengujian efektivitas menggunakan
Independent Sample T-Test yang menghasilkan nilai t-hitung sebesar 12,545 pada
derajat kebebasan (df) 48, dengan probabilitas Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05).
Nilai signifikansi yang berada jauh di bawah ambang batas alpha tersebut secara
mutlak menolak hipotesis nol (H0). Perbedaan efektivitas yang tajam ini dipertegas
oleh lonjakan rata-rata capaian posttest pada Kelas Eksperimen yang menyentuh
angka 86,96, unggul secara signifikan dibandingkan Kelas Kontrol yang berada
pada angka 67,76.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini, Produk bahan ajar tematik integratif terbukti
secara empiris dan statistik sangat efektif dalam mengakselerasi keterampilan
komunikasi lisan santri dan sekaligus mampu menguasi materi kitab . Kehadiran
produk ini tidak sekadar berfungsi sebagai suplemen materi, melainkan berhasil
bertransformasi menjadi jembatan pedagogis yang memadukan antara penguasaan
literatur kitab kuning dengan praktik komunikasi santri secara faktual.

The teaching of the Fath al-Qarīb textbook at the Darullughah Wadda’wah
Islamic Boarding School in Pasuruan is, in fact, still oriented toward comprehensive
reading (Fahm al-Maqrū’). In other contexts, students’ Mahārah Kalām practice
tends to stagnate within the discourse of daily routines. In response to this gap, this
study aims to design and test the effectiveness of the integrative thematic teaching
material Al-Muhawarah Al-Fiqhiyyah Min Fath Al-Qarīb . This product is intended
to integrate the literature of the book Fath al-Qarīb into the oral domain, boosting
students’ confidence in speaking without being constrained by grammatical anxiety
(qawā'id).
This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) methodology
based on the Borg & Gall model. In its design, the development of thematic
mahārah kalām instructional materials is integrated with the Content and Language
Integrated Learning (CLIL) theory, a pedagogical framework that synergizes
cognitive understanding of fiqh with the psychomotor skills of oral communication.
To test the effectiveness of the product, this study employs a comparative
experimental design involving pre-tests and post-tests on two sample groups (the
Experimental Class and the Control Class).
The results of the statistical analysis confirmed the equivalence of the initial
abilities of the two groups of subjects through a homogeneity test, which yielded a
Sig. value of 0.970 (> 0.05). After using the instructional materials, an Independent
Sample T-Test was conducted to assess effectiveness, yielding a calculated t-value
of 12.545 at 48 degrees of freedom (df), with a two-tailed Sig. probability of 0.000
(< 0.05). This significance value, which is far below the alpha threshold, absolutely
rejects the null hypothesis (H0). This sharp difference in effectiveness is
underscored by the surge in the average posttest score in the Experimental Class,
which reached 86.96 significantly higher than the Control Class’s score of 67.76.
The conclusion of this study is that the integrated thematic teaching
materials have been empirically and statistically proven to be highly effective in
accelerating students’ oral communication skills while also enabling them to master
the content of the classical texts. These materials do not merely serve as a
supplement to the curriculum; rather, they have successfully transformed into a
pedagogical bridge that integrates mastery of classical Islamic texts with students’
practical communication skills.
