Abstract

Wina, Dr. Roni Subhan, S.Pd., M.Pd, 2021: The Effect of Rewards and Punishment on Employee Performance at Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Jember Branch Office. In the ever increasing development of the business world, it will also encourage the level of competition in the business sector, including in the service sector. Often times with these developments, the problems experienced by the company are increasingly complex because the company will face more competitors, but the company is required to be able to achieve product sales according to the expected target through improving the quality of services for human resources (HR). The formulation of the problem in this thesis are: (1) How perngaruh Reward the performance of employees at Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Jember Branch Office? (2) How does Punishment affect the performance of employees at Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Jember Branch Office? (3) How is the effect of Rewards and Punishment on employee performance at Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Jember Branch Office? The objectives of this study were (1) To determine the effect ofapplication reward on employee performance at Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Jember Branch Office (2) To determine the effect of punishment on employee performance at Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Jember Branch Office (3) To analyze Effect of Rewards and Punishment on employee performance at Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Jember Branch Office. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of field research research (field research). The population and sample of this study were 38 employees of the BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Jember Branch Office by distributing questionnaires as many as 38 respondents with saturated sample techniques. Data analysis tool such as validity, reliability, classic assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing and test the coefficient of determination (R2)with SPSS Statistics Version 22. This study concluded that in partial Reward has a positive impact and significance of the employee performance at Bank BPRS Bhakthi Sumekar Jember Branch Office. The dimension of tcount is 1.091 with a significance level of 0.000. Because (tcount 1.091 <ttable 1.686) with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Meanwhile, thevariable Punishment did not significantly affect the employee's performance at Bank BPRS Bhakthi Sumekar Jember Branch Office. Where tcount equal to 0.163 with a significance level of 0.871. Because (tcount 0.163 <ttable 1.686) with a significance level of 0.871> 0.05. While simultaneously the variables have a significant effect on employee performance at Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Jember Branch Office with a value of Fcount > Ftable 5,750> 3,259, a significance value of 0,000 <0.05.
