Abstract

Fitriatul Muqmiroh, Ana Pratiwi 2022: The Effect of Financial Performance on Investment Decisions in Manufacturing Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2017 – 2021.
Manufacturing companies are companies that are engaged in the processing of raw materials into semi-finished goods or finished goods which can later be reprocessed or used directly by consumers. Manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) are divided into three types, namely the consumer goods industry sector, the basic and chemical industry sector, and the various industrial sectors.
The formulation of the problem in this research are: 1). Does Return On Investment affect investment decisions? 2) Does Return On Assets affect investment decisions? 3).Does the fixed asset turnover ratio affect investment decisions?
This study aims to determine the effect of Return On Investment, Return On Assets and Fixed Asset Turnover on stock returns in manufacturing companies. The sample used in this study is the financial statements of manufacturing companies in 2017-2021 using the purposive sampling method.
The method in this research is secondary quantitative research. Method data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the analysis results show that: Return on Investment has a significant effect on stock returns, Return On Assets has no significant effect on stock returns and fixed asset turnover has significant effect on stock returns.
