Abstract
Assessment is considered one of the most important elements for improving the
learning process in order to measure students' success in the learning process،
particularly in Arabic language learning. One way to assess Arabic language learning is
through exams. The researcher developed an assessment method using the Quizizz
platform. Quizizz is a tool on the international network that can be used to conduct
Arabic language learning exams to facilitate learning and increase engagement in
studying.
The research questions are: 1) How is the development of Quizizz application-
based evaluation tools in Arabic language teaching when applied to students at Fathur
Rahman School? 2) How valid are the Quizizz application-based evaluation tools in
Arabic language teaching when applied to students at Fathur Rahman School? 3) How
effective are the Quizizz application-based evaluation tools in Arabic language teaching
when applied to students at Fathur Rahman School?
The development of assessment tools using Arabic follows the ADDIE model،
which consists of five stages: analysis، design، development، implementation، and
evaluation. The researcher chose this type of research and preparation because it has
meticulous steps in the production procedure ، making it easier for the researcher to
develop.
The results of this study are: 1) The development of this research used steps and
features from the design of a Quizizz-based evaluation tool for Arabic book practice
based on an international network approach. 2) The product's validity was evident after
being presented and approved by design experts and material experts، as characteristics
of product validity. 3) The results showed an increase in students' motivation in Arabic
learning practice between the initial test and the final test. The scores in the initial test
were generally at a "fair" level، and the scores in the final test after the application of the
product were generally at a "good" level
