Abstract
Mafrudoh, Dr. Nurul Widyawati IR, S.Sos., M. Si AK 2021 : Comparative Study of Online Buying and Selling Distribution Channels and Offline Buying and Selling on Rahbini Fashion Products in Sumberjati Village, Silo District, Jember Regency. Rahbini Moslem Wear store is a fashion business that uses online and offline trading systems as a sales strategy. One form of online buying and selling system is using the Website, Instagram, Shopee and Tokopedia. Whereas in the offline buying and selling system, consumers come directly to Rahbini's shop. The focus of this research is: 1) How is the distribution channel difference between online buying and selling with offline buying and selling of Rahbini fashion products in Sumberjati Village, Silo District, Jember Regency? 2) What are the obstacles or obstacles to the comparative study of distribution channels using online and offline on Rahbini fashion products in Sumberjati Village, Silo District, Jember Regency? This study aims to describe the differences in distribution channels between buying and selling online and buying and selling offline on Rahbini's fashion products and what are the obstacles or obstacles. This research is a type of field research using a descriptive qualitative approach, namely research by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation to obtain data. Then the data are analyzed using qualitative methods that are inductive. The validity of the data used source triangulation technique. From the whole this research concludes that 1) Rahbini Moslem Wear store is a Fashion business whose sales strategy uses an online buying and selling system, namely using social media Instagram, Website, Shopee, Tokopedia and offline buying and selling, where consumers come directly to Rahbini's shop. 2) The online buying and selling distribution channel is more effective than the offline buying and selling distribution channel, consumers are more interested in shopping through online rather than ordering directly to the store. The online distribution channel run by Rahbini's shop is very effective with the development of practical technological advances to attract consumers through social media networks Instagram, Website, Shopee and Tokopedia. whereas in the offline buying and selling distribution channel, Rahbini's shop, which is located in the middle of a community whose majority of the economy is middle to lower class, makes Rahbini's shop empty of customers from around the shop's domicile. 3) Obstacles or obstacles experienced by Rahbini's shop are in online buying and selling, namely the relatively expensive shipping costs out of Java, very high online business competition, lots of fraud in cyberspace. Whereas in offline buying and selling, which is the target market for the middle and upper class, it requires more employees because the admin of Rahbini's shop is only one person, limited products and it is difficult to find goods.
